JAMBO FAMILIA WANGU NA MARAFIKI YANGU!
Hope y'all are well!
Sistas❤
And not tons happened this week that was crazy, just a normal missionary week!
Here's the most notable events:
1. I had to call a cable company for one of the ladies we are teaching to be a translator, and I felt so bad because I had to tell her that she owed some money because she didn't pay her bill. She was so stressed, but we are gonna help her along the way with calling and getting her TV set back up. She's so sweet.
2. I feel like I'm a tutor again because of how much I get to help people with their homework! And honestly, it's ALWAYS math haha. Duh! But it's super fun to help them. I love it!
3. I've been kinda sick these past two days. On Thursday, the temperature dropped from like 100 degrees to 65 in a matter of 24 hours and it hasn't warmed up. So, that left me with a terrible head cold: ( I'm 99.9% sure it's not corona. But, if it gets worse I will do all I can to stay safe and help others stay safe as well!
That's maybe the most noteworthy things from this week. Not as crazy as normal!
A little girl did my makeup:)🔥
Batina played with my face haha
Spiritual Thought:
This week I read in Jesus the Christ again, and it talked about how Christ learned growing up. He wasn't born with a perfect knowledge and grew up as a mortal in the same exact way we do. But, he devoted his life to study and prayer and tried to stay in tune with the Spirit with every step he took, and eventually the "mysteries of God" were made known to him. He learned line upon line just as God promises us we will learn.
We don't need to know the answers to everything, but if we are continually growing and learning, it will be enough!
Nakupenda!!
